Dr. Resnick was born and raised in Queens New York. He graduated Queens College and then went to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. While attending Tufts, he also went to Harvard University Extension School, where he received a Graduate Certificate in Business. He then went to New York University where he received a Postgraduate Degree in Endodontics. He started practicing in 1988 as an associate of Dr. Irivng Fried, who has since passed. Shortly after graduating he began teaching at Mount Sinai Hospital. In 1991, he became Chief of Endodontics, a position he held for 23 years. Dr. Zicarelli joined him in 1991. Next came Dr. Gallin, then Dr. Pruss, Dr. Linenberg and Dr. Castro. They have been in their present location since 1990. They pride themselves on using the most sophisticated techniques and materials and they constantly strive towards excellence. He has a wife and three daughters. He enjoys cycling, running, swimming, yoga and, of course, spending time with his family.
Thomas J. Zicarelli, DDS, is a graduate of Villanova University and the New York University College of Dentistry, where he completed his DDS degree and specialty certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Zicarelli served as Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Postgraduate Endodontics from 1989 through 1999. It was during his specialty training that he met Dr. Scott Resnick, and together they founded New York City Endodontics in 1991. Over the years, they have expanded the practice to include several associates and a second location in SoHo. Dr. Zicarelli is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontics, the New York Dental Forum and the First district Dental Society of New York, to mention a few. Dr. Zicarelli is married and has two children. He enjoys hiking, skiing, mountain and road cycling, ice climbing, gardening and model railroading.
Dr. Randolph Todd is a technology inspired Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics who began his academic dental career at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Upon completion of a General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital / LIJ in New York he pursued his Endodontic specialty training at New York University College of Dentistry (NYUCD). Over the past thirty-six years Dr. Todd has maintained an exclusive private specialty practice in NYC and educated countless students at various institutions including SUNY Stony Brook College of Dentistry (Clinical Assistant Professor), NYUCD and NSUH/LIJ. He is the current Past-President of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Endodontics and as a member of the Board of Directors has been the Director of their Board Review Course for the past 6 years. Dr. Todd has been a National Lecturer for Carestream Dental and authored several articles on the subject of Cone Beam Computed Technology. He has been a member of the Scientific Review Board of the Journal of Endodontics for the past 10 years and has reviewed over 90 articles. Dr. Todd has been nominated for the ADA Certificate for International Volunteer Service for his participation in an international humanitarian dental care program in Madagascar and the Caribbean.
Dr. Courtney Linenberg is originally from Michigan, and attended the University of Michigan where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology. She moved to NYC to attend New York University College of Dentistry for her DDS degree and then completed a General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Linenberg went on to Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine for her Endodontic residency after which she got married and moved back to New York and has been with NYC Endodontics ever since. She has been on the faculty at NYU College of Dentistry and has participated in their Global Outreach Program, providing dental care to populations in need in Maine, Mexico and Tanzania. Dr. Linenberg loves to travel, ski and read a good book. She and her husband recently welcomed their first child, Joseph.
Dr. Jennifer Donelson originally comes from Colorado, where she attended Colorado College and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. She traveled to Boston and attended the Tufts School of Dental Medicine for her DMD degree. She then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Lutheran Medical Center. She followed up with additional training at the same medical center to complete her Endodontic residency. She now lives in New York and enjoys running, Bikram yoga, and taking a stroll through Central Park with her Maltese, Violet.
